<p>This petition was started because I believe the decision to kick me off the team was unprofessional and unfair. This decision was made because of pride and trying to prove a point to freshman. The coach always says that the cheer program is babied and should get the same treatment as other teams. However, if this was another team, this decision wouldn't have been made. There are many football and basketball players who argue with their coaches and there is a punishment, not removal from the team. Many authority figures in the athletic department and student life, and also students on campus who know about the situation, think that the situation has been handled incorrectly and unfairly. By signing this petition, you are agreeing that this has been taken too far.</p>
