<p>Every year during National Hazing Prevention Week, Sigma Kappas across the country join the anti hazing movement by taking part in Sigma Kappa's "Week of Respect". Join the Phi chapter at URI in recognizing the importance of the anti hazing movement. We ask you to sign our petition and pledge that you will "prevent hazing before it occurs, stop hazing when [you] see it happening, report it when [you] know it has transpired, and help empower others to do the same in their organizations, schools and communities" (nationalhazingpreventionweek.org). We invite all chapter members to sign this pledge with your name and write your chapter name or letters in the notes box!
