<p>Chelan Seaplanes received notice of their lease terminating in mid September which has resulted in no home for the seaplane service on Lake Chelan. A very sad day has come for the seaplane service on Lake Chelan which has been operating since 1945.</p><p>Stehekin businesses and residents along with folks in greater Chelan County will be suffer. Folks looking to make a quick trip to Stehekin will not have the opportunity to catch a 25 minute scheduled flight. Visitors or residents of Stehekin that have emergencies come up will not be able to have an affordable and speedy option for getting between Chelan and Stehekin.</p><p>In order for the air service to be affordable, a permanent home for the seaplane service must have a reasonable lease rate to keep the service viable. Your support is needed to encourage the City of Chelan, the Port of Chelan and Chelan County to come up with a viable solution to house the badly needed air service on Lake Chelan.</p><p>Please support our petition to the City and Port to show how many people the lack of seaplane service on the lake will effect.
