Prohibit The Use of Recreational Vehicles...

<p>Hello neighbors,&nbsp;</p><p>Over the past few months we have seen an increase use of recreational vehicles in our neighborhood; specifically dirt bikes and ATV's. While I am not opposed of the use of these vehicles I do, however, believe the use of these vehicles in our neighborhood not only is a nuisance, but more importantly, unsafe and devalues the appearance and tranquility of our neighborhood. We purchased our home three years ago and chose Kenlan Farms because it was a quiet neighborhood, where we can enjoy the peace of mind of having our kids play safely in the community and common grounds. Over the last six months we have reached out to the individuals who ride the bikes up and down the neighborhood and have asked them to please refrain from riding them in the neighborhood. Those request have been ignored and the number of individuals riding them has increased, as a result. It seems it has become the normal activity in the neighborhood and I have seen how children playing on the street have to yield to the bikers as they whip around the corners, doing dangerous wheelies and racing up and down the streets. I no longer allow my children to play in my front of my house because I'm afraid of an accident occurring. This is very concerning, and speaking with many of the neighbors regarding this matter, I see we share the same concern for the safety of our children &nbsp;and the quality of life in the neigborhood diminishing. Additionaly, as a former realtor, I'm concerned that this will deter prospective buyers from kenlan farms, which may negatively effect our property values as a result; especially being that this is an HOA neighborhood, and buyers who seek an HOA will be turned away because of this unruly activity. This is the reason I have put this petition together and ask you to join me by signing and sharing with your neighbors whom youn may think also share the same concern and be interested in signing.
