Stop AVID And TRF'S!

<p>Welcome to&nbsp;<strong>Oxford Academy</strong>&nbsp;where the students study until their smart brain can keep up and where you have to take a test to get in. It takes time to study for the test, some hire tutors to help them, some study every chance they have and have started very young telling themselves if I do not get into this school, I have no chance at anything. Once they get in, more stress like this begins to build up with the homework and projects, but they are able to keep up.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>They are now able to cooperate with the amount of homework and doing quite well. Then something new comes around. <strong><em><u>Tutorial Request Forms!</u></em></strong><u></u><u></u> This is done in all schools because of common core. You might be thinking, if common core did this, why not take out common core! Well because common core uses the same standards all across America, if one were to move, they would not have changed courses, but be either faster or slower in the subject.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Back to the topic.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Most students in the 7th to 8th grade (When they have AVID or TRF) do not have any problems with many of their classes. Collecting tons of papers like cornell notes and forcing us to be watched by "tutors" who do not actually do anything except watch &nbsp;the students. About 70-90% of students, the majority, cannot produce tons of paperwork and have to fake most of their work, getting graded downwards for producing work not acceptable to the teacher.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Without Avid, a complete waste of time, teaching us to be organized and create a certain kind of notes. I find that completely useless, students can create their own kind of notes, and still put a lot of effort into it. They have their own unique way in how they can understand and read their notes, but we are taught to change our notes in a way that they can read and understand, but we cannot fully understand and we are not&nbsp;accustomed to.</p><p>&nbsp;</p><p>Thank You So Much For Giving Your Time To Reaching This Far.
