The cost of abuse

<p>Abuse is the greatest enemy to human potential. Each day in America.millions are abused.They are often left with a permanent traumatic memory of their experience. Some pay the ultimate price with their lives. We must stand up and cry out against this injustice. Now we must hold those who abuse others accountable for their actions. How do we do this?</p><p>Every year millions are arrested for domestic, child, and animal abuse. They are allowed to bond out of jail and none of the monies go toward the damage they have caused to their victims and our world.&nbsp;</p><p>I am proposing a bill to take to my local government here in Dekalb County Georgia that any one arrested for an offence of abuse must pay an extra 12% onto their bond amount. The extra monies will go to child protection centers, domestic violence and/or animal shelters in the local county where the person was arrested. Some of the monies will also pay for counseling services for the victim. We must not force abuse victims to pay the price for their own healing. They have already suffered enough.&nbsp;</p><p>Why 12%?</p><p>12 represents change and regeneration. Jesus picked twelve dis copies to change the world, every twelve months we get a new year, water boils at 212 degrees, and every 12 seconds someone in America is abused. So I am asking everyone that reads this Petition to sign and forward it to twelve people to sign as well.&nbsp;</p><p>It is my desire to make this a national bill requiring everyone in America to be held accountable for abuse.
