<p>Secondhand smoke can kill us. It should not be allowed to drift our way when we are enjoying a beautiful meal here in the desert. With this petition we ask our lawmakers to ban smoking on restaurant patios as so many other cities in California have already done, among them Los Angeles, Santa Monica and Beverly Hills. With this we hope to increase the health and quality of life of all residents and visitors</p>
