<p>Currently in the Minnesota legislature there is a proposed bill to fund three and four year old preschool. Preschool tuition can be a financial hardship for many families. It can also be a financial hardship for schools to provide and fund preschool.</p><p>Preschool offers readiness skills such as: social/emotional readiness skills, cognitive skills, functional/adaptive skills, expressive and receptive communication skills, gross and fine motor skills, and develop a love of learning. All preschool children need these skills to be successful in Kindergarten and beyond. </p><p>Every child should be given the opportunity to have this educational advantage.
