<p>In recent weeks of February 2016 the Essex Hotel staff and tenants discovered that our grave yard desk clerk Javier Romero was removed from the Essex and transferred to a different building. Both tenants and staff would like to verbalize that we are extremely disappointed and would like to demand Javier Romero's return. During the years that Javier has worked at the Essex Hotel he has been a light at the end of the tunnel, helping anyone in need and making sure that our building remains safe. Javier is a bilingual speaker and has been a great resource and access to the community here at the Essex Hotel. Javier is also the only male desk clerk that we have here, as there are duties that need to be done in the building that only a man can do. Please consider our request to bring Javier back to the building!! His return is much needed and appreciated!!</p>
