Mitragynine Speciosa

<p>Currently, a horrible injustice is being brought upon the herbal communities. The threat of an irreplaceable herb known as Kratom or Mitragynine Speciosa is about to become illegal. This threat is intolerable its a natural plant that benefits health via pain killing properties and energy properties. It helps with anxiety and its less toxic to the liver and kidney by far than narcotic pain medications. Kratom doesn't cause a "high" like the media is saying it does. It's perfectly fine, behind us are tens of thousand's of testimonials, people willing and already vouching for kratom to be around for a long time to come.<br /><br /> We MUST act though, they are trying to pass bills all over the place to have kratom removed, this is a smear campaign by big pharmaceutical companies to overtake the market again after losing so much of its business in narcotics to kratom users choosing a safe alternative to the heroine/opiate based drugs they push onto people on a daily basis. <br /><br />This must not be allowed to stand. This is a natural plant, God given and has been researched THOROUGHLY by various labs. We must get this fixed, we must educate our government on the benefits of kratom. We must stop this gross injustice before it becomes something far worse that is beyond our control. Our states must listen to their people, and this is something that needs to desperately be heard.&nbsp;<br /><br />Kratom is a healthy alternative to pain killing drugs.&nbsp;<br /><br />Kratom helps massively with anxiety and anxiety related conditions.<br /><br />Kratom calms the nerves of people that twitch/ have tourettes (I witnessed this personally from my cousin who suffers greatly from this condition he didnt tick the entire time he took it besides in the morning before he took a dose.)<br /><br />Kratom overall helps the body maintain a healthier state due to its anti-fungal properties. It also helps ward off infection and sickness.<br /><br />Kratom is an anti-oxidant working on the same capacity as green tea's.<br /><br />Kratom is used by hundreds of thousands of ex-drug addicts seeking a healthier life style to stop what they were doing and become productive members of society.<br /><br />Usually kratom is introduced to someone via that found out about it from their own personal experience as stated in the prior statement.&nbsp;<br /><br />Kratom has thousands of years of documented use in medicine. Never once has it been directly attributed to a fatality. The only instance that someone was ever harmed in history was one person who happened to be allergic to it ate it and had a convulsion momentarily. He regained himself within minutes and was fine. The only other instances of kratom being involved in a death involved a myriad of other drugs this can easily be found out by a simple google search pertaining to the dates of the incidents.<br /><br />Kratom is a good anti-inflammatory, many of us use kratom for this specific reason, we don't like taking muscle relaxers combined with steroids so we choose kratom to ease the swelling off of our spines, knuckles, toes, knee's etc. It works much more effectively.&nbsp;<br /><br />Kratom does not give you hallucinations. While classified as a psychoactive by some circles kratom isn't known by itself to cause hallucinations of any kind. It can however make dreaming more vivid which is believed where this myth originated.<br /><br />Proposition<br />_____<br />The proposition of this petition is to ensure the future safety of kratom in the united states of america. We aim to prove that kratom use is for the betterment of humanity and to carry that burden of proof upon submission of this petition. We wish for our congress and senators and statesmen to take us seriously. Just because we are viewed as lower members of society because of a lifestyle choice we make does not exemplify the fact that we are any less important to these decisions as yourselves.&nbsp;<br /><br />We kratom users agree with the majority of you that kratom should not be sold on store fronts. It should not be sold in capsules, it should not be marketed as a tea. No one under the age of 18 should have access to kratom if they are younger than that they risk abusing it for lack of understanding what it is. (Just like alcohol) We make our purchases online and many vendors make you input an ID number before processing your transaction as opposed to random sales in 2012 and 2013 that were un-monitored.<br /><br />We also need to be in understanding that kratom IS a valid herb that helps with pain killing without causing the narcotic effects of heavy medications. This is something that needs to be viewed for what it is. Kratom must not be gotten rid of for the simple fact it is safer on a ratio of 1/10,000 compared to even tramadol the weakest of all pain killers.&nbsp;<br /><br />Lifestyle changes occur while taking kratom, you have more energy and focus. You feel more productive and your aches and pains are relieved. It doesn't feel dirty like pill's do. Its much cleaner without the drowsiness and sickness pills cause. The reason this is being banned and lets be clear about this is simply people being paid off by large pharmaceutical companies to go on a campaign to get rid of it as they view it as another multi-billion dollar market feeding their main cash cow our government.&nbsp;<br /><br />In closing<br />______</p><p>Kratom has been in the united states since the 1970's when it originally came here to be used to form new medicines which it did. It made many break throughs in anti-fungal pharmacology giving us a vast number of cures for things thought before otherwise unable to be treated without invasive procedures or extremely toxic medications.&nbsp;<br /><br />It has been a staple in the work force being used by people prescribed pain killers yet couldn't take them due to the nature of their job because of the drowziness they cause. Kratom has been used to combat this for many many years.<br /><br />There is a lot of relevance about Mitragynine Speciosa in the united states. Its apart of our culture, not just our markets. Its used by hundreds of thousands to better their lives and help them feel normal again. That is all we are asking, is the ability to keep the thing that keeps us feeling normal, not drugged out zombies- Not incompetent drooling vegetables. Please consider us as you would any other civilian with a serious concern. I fear not just for my own future without being able to take the thing that makes me feel pain free and keeps my panic attacks away but for the people who have it worse than myself also.&nbsp;<br /><br />Below are all the people who signed this petition.
