<p>Are you paying too much money for your daily commute?</p><p>Do you find it impossible to travel with anything other than your car?</p><p>Are public transport services in your area unreliable and of bad quality?</p><p>Some fares around the UK have seen price increases of over 80%. Rail firms planned hikes of up to 20% in January 2015 alone. Current government intervention will cost UK taxpayers £700m. Something <span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>must</strong></span> change.</p><p>We are running proposals for the government to hold more control over the price increases of public transport fares on a national scale. We believe if price increases were limited to the rate of inflation minus 3%. What would mean for you as a daily commuter?</p><ul style="list-style-type: disc;"><li>At first, current public transport companies would be forced to reduce their increases to the set rate. This would reduce the cost of travelling for many people.</li><li>Extreme and <strong>ridiculous</strong> company profits (and big bonuses for high positioned workers) will be slashed, stripping and reducing the monopolization of public transport.</li><li>Public transport users will be spared the fear of not being able to travel if prices are increased, as prices will always be just under the right amount to spend.</li><li>The government will finally have agreed upon an effective solution to the public transport crisis.</li></ul><p>Something must <em><span style="text-decoration: underline;"><strong>change</strong></span></em>.</p><p> </p>
