<p><strong>The Goal:</strong> To demand that government agencies and insurance companies to cease applying fourfold car insurance laws on Irish citizens.</p><p><strong>The Problem:</strong> Insurance companies in Ireland have the right to deny Irish citizens that are car insurance, if they deem it to not be in the best interest of the public.</p><p>Currently, Ireland has a fourfold insurance law and the law says that anyone looking for car insurance must be accepted on their fourth attempt to get insurance. Although this may seem like great news, it’s not really in the best interests of the driver. The law is dependent on a driver’s claims history and interestingly, the amount of people denied car insurance has quadrupled since 2014, inducing more drivers to drive uninsured vehicles, which further aggravates refusal rates.</p><p>When an insurance company is compelled to give car insurance on the fourth application, the rates are often sky-high, making it next to impossible to manage paying the premiums.
