<p>This is a petition that will be sent to California Senators (Feinstein and Boxer) proposing to make the sale of lethal rounds illegal to anyone whose job does not require lethal rounds. If we can't convince gun owners to give up their weapons, perhaps we can convince them to swap out their ammunition.</p><p>I propose gun owners would need a special permit to obtain lethal rounds, everyone else will be allowed to purchase non-lethal rounds. I'm sure there aren't non-lethal rounds for every gun right now, but I bet it could happen if this idea becomes a law. If a gun is lethal with any kind of ammunition, ban it. Maybe the senseless shootings would still happen, but maybe not quite so many people would die.</p><p>If you support this idea, please sign and share this petition. If it reaches 5,000 signatures, I'll send it to our California Senators because (A) I live in California and (B) I think they'll be most likely to support an idea like this. </p>
