<div>British Pakistani Christian Association (BPCA) and Responsible for Equality And Liberty (REAL) have received a communication from the Pakistan Christian refugee community in Thailand. We have been notified that a 52 year old man is seriously ill within the Bangkok Immigration Detention Center and who need hospital treatment.</div><div> </div><div>The individual's name and contact information is as follows:</div><div> </div><div><strong>Full name: Noshad Young</strong></div><div><strong>Immigration detainee number: 8689</strong></div><div><strong>Immigration detention room number: 3</strong></div><div> </div><div>Our contacts in the refugee community state that Mr. Noshad Young is seeking medical treatment. They are reporting that Noshad Young is a heart patient, whose health has been deteriorating over the past month. They are reporting that he has been unable to eat for days, has blisters in his mouth, and is suffering from continuous anal discharge. His family tells the refugee community that his health is in serious jeopardy at this time.</div><div> </div><div>Our sources in the refugee community state that Mr. Young was taken into custody two and a half months ago, when he went to the immigration detention center to see his son. The reports state that he was taken into custody and his bail was canceled without notification.</div><div> </div><div><strong>By signing this petition the undersigned implore the United Nations High Commission for Refugees (UNHCR) to have dialogue with the Royal Thai Government (RTG) and seek the release of Mr Young. We also call for either the UNHCR or the RTG to ensure that approriate life saving treatment is received by Mr Young. In the last three years 15 refugees have lost their lives due to a failure to provide adequate healthcare and medical treatment in the notorious Immigration Detention Centre of Bangkok.
