Base on keeping the roads safe it's allows better to be able to go with the flow of traffic. The DOT thinks making commercial trucks slower is going to improve safety. But what happens when you put your hand in a water current? You would know have the same problem on the highway. So in order to protect everyone as a whole if whatever they decide to govern commercial trucks at, they need to apply them to every thing on the roads. I think the only acceptance should be for emergency vehicles (police, ambulance, fire department, and etc). So whatever the DOT says is a safe speed for trucks should be a safe speed for everyone. Thanks for your time and if you have anything to add just say it in the notes.
