<p>The South Dakota School Board should vote yes on involving more tech in K-12 curriculum. Students today are born into a technology driven world, and demand differentiated learning in their classroom, as it allows a more individual based approach to instruction and feedback, making students feel more in control of their learning versus going through the motions. We can train teachers to use new tech with easier ways such as podcasts, or teacher interaction through social media. Differentiated learning styles allow more students to be able to grasp the same core concepts as everyone else, with being able to work at their own pace. Digital differentiation has an unlimited amount of app programs in which students and teachers can utilize. With the student being more involved in their classwork, this leads to fewer dropout rates, as students feel more motivated while able to self-organize their education. Incorporating technology into classrooms allows schools to eliminate paper waste and allows students to be carrying less home in their back packs</p>
