<p><strong>Hoverboards should be legal in New York State. The hoverboard is a way of transportation in a fun way. Kids and adults can go to a local dollar store or even a friends house. What harm can it possibly do to other people? You cant just throw it a somebody because its 30 pounds. You cant run over somebody because the tallest Hoverboard is 10 inches off the ground. Saying that a Hoverboard is illegal is like saying skateboards and skating is illegal. I don't understand why you can be fined $200 for using a Hoverboard when people are obstructing traffic on bikes, scooters etc. and just gets a warning. I can understand stand a $200 fine for obstructing traffic or in privet arias that do not allow it, but that goes for anyone on a transportation device. This is why the Hoverboard should be legal and let people some fun instead of being held down by the New York law.</strong></p><p> </p>
