Factory Though many want to end factory farms, it's almost an impossible demand. Therefore, we should call for better treatment to animals on factory farms. European countries have already made some significant changes, with one example being that they make sure chickens are killed by electrocution before proceeding down the slaughter line. Norway has even adopted a comprehensive Animal Welfare Act that makes sure animals are killed out of sight of other animals. In the United States there are no federal laws governing the conditions in which farmed animals are raised. I believe we should at least put in place a law saying that their cages must have a set minimum size, in order to make sure they have room to move around.
