<div id="image-wrapper"><p>This year Rainbow Fashion Week: June 17-24, 2016 is bringing our Social Responsibility Initative: "Dog Waste Composting" presented through our show Rainbow Pets June 18, 2016:</p><p>Dogs excretes approximately three quarters of a pound of waste per day. Dog Waste Can pollute ground and surface water, attract flies and pests and create unsanitary living conditions for humans. Dog waste also transmits parasites and infectious disease.</p><p>Our answer is to compost dog waste.Compost is an excellent source of organic matter to add to gardens, potted plants and tree beds. It's simple and inexpensive to dispose and can enhance our environment and reduce the amount of wastes deposited in our landfills that often ends in our global water system.</p><p>Please sign our petition and urge the City of New York to establish and maintain "Dog Compost Bins" on corners to help facilitate this end.
